1. Emergency Numbers
- Pompiers: 18
The Fire Department, but they handle just about any emergency.
Usually, the pompiers are fastest to arrive on the scene.
- S.A.M.U.: 15
To report medical Emergencies.
- Police: 17
Depending on where you are, dialing 17 will get you the police or the
gendarmerie nationale, whichever is closer to where you are. Keep in mind that this
is an emergency number and should only be used as such.
- Poison Center: 04 91 75 25 25
This is the number of the nearest center, Marseille. However, all hospitals in the area
are equipped to deal with poisoning.
