Saint-Raphaël title

It seems hard to believe that we have not yet posted any images of Saint-Raphaël since this is one of the places we regularly take visitors to. Using the highway, it only takes about 45 minutes to get to this picturesque, albeit somewhat touristy, resort town. Then, of course, there is the drive back. We usually take the Corniche d'Or, the old coastal road between Saint-Raphaël and Cannes. Not only is driving on this curvy and narrow road a great deal of fun (unless you are stuck behind a very slow vehicle pulling a humongous trailer), but the scenery is incredible: One drives along the Esterel mountains, and the red rock spectacularly combines with the deep blue, and sometimes green, of the Mediterranean. The colors are different depending on the weather, the time of day, and the season. I have yet to see a photograph that does the scenery justice, but of course this doesn't mean that I don't keep trying!

Anyway, here are a couple of dozen images of Saint-Raphaël and the Corniche d'Or taken over the years and with various equipment. As always, full EXIF information is embedded for those interested in knowing when, how, and with what equipment a photo was taken. Enjoy the scenery!
